Well the new season got under way on a lovely sunny Sunday afternoon at Ballards Ash. We started slowly though and looked disorganised conceding two early goals.

We rallied well though and got back into the game. We were the better team going into the break and were unlucky not to pull a goal back when Joe hit the post from distance.

Another early goal for Brinkworth in the 2nd half and it looked like our heads would drop; that certainly wasn't the case though as Daniel pulled a goal back after a scramble in the penalty area, and straight away Joe added a 2nd with a cracking finish. 3:2!

A couple more soft goals for Brinkworth saw them complete a comfortable win, but some decent spells throughout the game has given plenty of encouragement for the season.

Sam made some good saves and the 2 up front looked like they were forming a good strike partnership, but it was Harry who was names as this week's man of the match after some impressive work on the wing.
