Daniel Slade's return gave us a much needed boost today as we played the team just above us in the league - Chiseldon. Couldn't have got off to a worst start though as they took the lead within a minute!

We were fighting well today though and Daniel Carey, playing up front again, slotted home nicely to take us into half time at 1:1

The 2nd half was much better. Nick came on and made a difference, releasing Daniel Carey for his 2nd to put us in the lead. Joe swivelled nicely in the box and finished well to make it 3:1

We made it difficult for ourselves by losing posesion in a dangerous place and Chiseldon scored to bring themselves right back in the game. 3:2!!!

But Daniel Carey wasn't finished! Joe was battling well but was missing a few chances today and another went begging as he was put through on goal, the ball fell to Daniel though and on thios form he was not going to miss - 4:2 and a great hatrick for Daniel!

All the boys played well today and had a great fighting spirit, typified by the returning captain, Daniel Slade. Man of the match though went to Nick who came on at half time and really made a difference. Well done Nick. Of course Daniel Carey deserves a special mention for a top quality display up front.
