Today′s game we travelled to Croft, who had a good draw against Siddington the week before, which could have proved a tricky game for us, as we as a team have not started well so far this season.

From what I can remember of today′s game the boys listened to us in training and before the game to tell them what the coaches would like to see on the pitch, and at times they were listening.

The game was barely 2 minutes old when Bassett were put clear with some good passing between themselves and scored with their first break of the game. The first half, the goals came at a steady rate with Bassett controlling most of the half with Nick, Grant and Jack linking up well and with Fraser making some good saves when required to do so, his kicking was spot on today, also the use of his voice was good as well.

2nd half came and we made a few changes to positional sense, made some subs, along with that the players I thought lost their way a bit, which in hindsight may of or may have not contributed to Crofts 1st and only goal.

The game today was keenly contested between the teams, and at times in the 2nd half Bassett lost there way so we need to concentrate a lot more on what′s going on around us but overall played better today.

Seb man of the match had his best game for a while with his speed and his running at the defenders with the ball. Ellis covered a lot of ground and made some good passes, Grant who plays at the back, turned striker for a while and scored one for his efforts, all the boys done well today but still need to up another gear.

As you can read from the report I was not scheduled to do it today so was not paying attention to who scored and when. Its Tony′s fault for letting me know at the end of the game
