Bassett finally lost there 100% record with a 1-0 nil loss to Ferndale Youths who scored with a good header from a corner, with 5 minutes to go and Bassett just conceding there was no way back for us.

To be fair Bassett had not looked in the game from the start and with us not even barely testing the keeper it was a disappointing day for us all but we must move on and look what we can improve on and keep working on this in training.

Ferndale as a whole played well but even a lost looking Bassett still battled on to the very end and nearly sealed a draw but for a great last minute tackle from one of the defenders.

As I said it was our first loss in the league since Jan 2005 and it′s a record the lads can be proud of.
