A game of 2 halves with Bassett defending well only to go one down before half time to a soft goal, Bassett came out after half time raising their game an extra 10% to completely dominate the top 2/3rds of the field. a well taken penalty by Danny Dhillon came 10, minutes into the 2nd half after Rob Curtis was clumsily taken down enroute to goal. a second penalty incident was turned down after Tom Walkley appeared to be tripped inside the box. with the game being taken to Ferndale. Bassett put several shots on target but were unable to convert their chances. Kyle Brookes was outstanding in defence snuffing out all Ferndale's attacks. This now takes Bassett's unbeaten run to 4 games confidence is running high and looking forward to the clash with Liden in 2 weeks time in the cup quarter finals
