Bassett were denied the three points by a controversial penalty decision that even baffled the Henley players in the final minute of the game. The game was an even contest throughout with Neil Bridges scoring with an excellent shot from the corner of the box and over the keeper into the far corner with twenty minutes left on the clock. Some excellent defending which has been the strong point of the season so far kept Henley at bay and they rarely looked like creating a decent chance, never mind scoring a goal until that dodgy referee stepped in to help out yet again!!
