A hard physical battle of a game, in which we really should have made more of the goalscoring opportunities available. Nevertheless, the team played very well and both goals were well deserved. Jake Gosling again scored an excellent goal and was unfortunate not to score a penalty after a fine save by the Purton goalkeeper. Oliver Stevens scored a scorcher from 15 yards from a goal kick.

Another excellent team performance and our consistency and desire is at an all-time high. MOM was Dominic Gordon. We must concentrate in the new year and not become complacent, as we have some difficult games in January against Croft and Ferndale.

Second Game - Purton 0 - 2 Wootton Bassett

Another excellent second game, and a well-deserved win. Goals scored by George Dent and James Lownds, MOM was Adam Topping.
