Corsham gave a sparkling display on Saturday in their last home game, which enabled them to complete the double over their visitors. It was the best game seen at Corsham this season. The game was played without a deliberate foul throughout.

The game was 20 minutes old before Harvey opened the score. The visitors should have equalised when with an open goal a player put over the bar. Corsham missed good goal scoring chances before half time.

In the second half Corsham dominated the play and with a light ball played well. Goals came from Harvey, Poiling and Clayton (2). But for some fine goalkeeping the score would have been greater. For Corsham King, Cox and Harvey were outstanding.
