It was a thriller at Wootton Bassett. A Thompson "special" from the left-wing had the Warminster goalkeeper guessing after 16 minutes. The ball struck the far post and when it rebounded Smith followed up to give Wootton Bassett the lead.

Penny equalised before the change-over and in the second half Curtis and Graham came along with further goals for the visitors, who now meet Purton in the next round in a fortnight's time.
