Caitlin Brooks scored four goals as Royal Wootton Bassett Town secured a comfortable 5-0 South West Regional Women's Football League Division One North victory against Olveston United.
Bassett had suffered a shock 3-1 defeat away at Olveston at the beginning of the month. But there was to be no repeat of that outcome as Adam Wood's side recorded a big win - with their margin of victory kept in check courtesy of a brave display from Olveston 'keeper Charity Morris.
Morris ensured that her side only went behind late in the first half when Brooks tapped in from a Laura Jefferies corner.
That was to be the first of a quickfire hat trick for Brooks who lifted over Morris for her second after beating the offside trap to connect with another fine Jefferies delivery, this time from open play.
She was then quickest to react after Morris could only party from a Maddy Elliott shot to make it 3-0.
Brooks made it 4-0 on the hour, producing another simple finish after Jefferies drove in from the wing.
Kat Bach would then complete the scoring after good build up play from Elliott.
Three wins in a row mean Bassett are now just three points away from sealing a top three place.
They remain just a point behind second place Bitton too as they head to still unbeaten Gloucester City next week for their final away fixture of the campaign.
