Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development eased into the Fountains Trophies Senior Cup third round courtesy of a 4-0 triumph away at Devizes Town Reserves as the in-form Nat Bell registered a hat trick.
Devizes were another Division One side eying up a cup upset when they entertained Bassett at Nursteed Road. However, that was not to occur.
They fell behind to a well taken goal, Adam House volleying in from a Nat Bell free kick.
Devizes then had a golden chance to get back on level terms from the penalty spot, but Dan West in the Bassett goal pulled off a fantastic save to maintain the lead.
Bell added a second for the visitors who went into the half time break two goals to the good.
It got even better for Bassett when Bell was on the scoresheet again within three minutes of the restart, and he rounded off his excellent afternoon with a hat-trick goal to complete the scoring.
