The one match in the first round of the Wiltshire Senior Cup was at the Sustain Stadium and it saw a close encounter between Royal Wootton Bassett Town Development and Blunsdon.
Blunsdon eventually edged it by the odd goal in three, Dave Young with both Blunsdon goals, and Kevin Lartey with the reply for Bassett.
Blunsdon will now be away to Melksham Town Reserves in the second round with games set to be played on Tuesday 10th October.
Bassett and Blunsdon are set to meet again next Tuesday night, this time in the league.
