Two late goals saw Royal Wootton Bassett Town fall to a 3-1 defeat in their rearranged Wiltshire League Floodlit Division cup semi final against Calne Town.

It was visitors Bassett who went ahead, Alan de Paula heading in from a corner on 20 minutes.

However, Calne were back on level terms by the break, Joseph Redman firing into the bottom corner of the net a minute after the ball fell to him inside the box.

It remained all square until 13 minutes from time when Jack Smith put Calne ahead for the first time in the game.

Bassett then sent centre back Sonny James forward as they pushed for an equaliser in the final ten minutes, but the game was put beyond them a minute from time when Smith bagged his second of the game to book Calne's place in the final.
