Last season's Wiltshire League Floodlit Division runners-up Royal Wootton Bassett Town Under 18s had seen their title hopes ended on their last visit to Bremhill View last season and must have been concerned that Calne Town would once again get the better of them as they trailed 1-0 at the break to an Asher Jones goal, with the home side very much on top in the first half.

It was a different story after the break though as the visitors went in search of an equaliser and were eventually rewarded when Euan Spackman brought them back level.

That was to be the end of the night's scoring as the two sides had to settle for a point and the second drawn game of the night in the division.

The point for Bassett was enough to see them go top of the early table.
