Melksham Town Reserves travelled to the Gerard Buxton Ground having won seven of the last eight meetings against their hosts Royal Wootton Bassett Town. However, they found themselves behind after just seven minutes when Bailey Gallagher put the home side in front. Melksham got themselves back on level terms with a goal to go in 1-1 at the break. A penalty early in the second half gave Royal Wootton Bassett Town the chance to regain the lead and leading scorer Charlie McCuish made no mistake for his seventh of the season. As the game moved into the closing stages Melksham got themselves back on level terms and then scored again to go ahead in the game for the first time. Just as it looked like Melksham would continue that winning run over their opponents, Bailey Gallagher equalised for the home side from a free kick on the right hand side of the penalty area to ensure a final score of 3-3 and a share of the points. The Melksham Town Reserve goals were scored by Harvey Flippance (2) and George Bendle.
