Larksfield Road, 3rd September 2008
Goals from Craig Shand and Sean Bailey secured a 2-1 victory against Hellenic Premier side Harrow Hill and a passage through to the first round of the Hellenic League Floodlit Cup, where they will travel to local rivals Malmesbury Victoria.
The win ensured Larksfield Road remained a happy hunting ground for Bassett, as they have now won there on three consecutive occasions.
Shand's goal was his third of the season, while Bailey grabbed his first in only his second game since coming on loan from Cirencester Town. And in those games the youngster has done nothing else but impress boss Dave Turner.
The win also provides a much needed confidence boost going into Saturday's FA Vase game away at Buckingham Athletic following two successive defeats.
