Coming up against a team that we had played earlier in the season, drawing 1-1 the girls showed how much they have improved and the determination to win this game as they were not going to give anything up. With it still being 0-0 at half time the girls knew they had to work that little bit harder to get the result they wanted. With Tegan coming out of goal along the right wing making some brilliant runs and crosses also with Hannah Coventry playing on the left making some great runs between defenders. After all there hard work we finally got a goal that we deserved from Amy Atkin even though it was end to end stuff with Georgina Viveash playing her game of the season in goal saving goals from everywhere. Bassett kept putting pressure on the Westfields defence, and Tegan took a shot from the right wing to go into the bottom left hand corner to make it 2-0. Everybody was making an impact on the game from playing well when on the pitch and even when watching there was plenty of encouragement from the other girls. A well-deserved place in the Semi-final of the cup next round is against Swindon Spitfires.
