Wootton Bassett had a hasty start to this first half encounter with Swindon Badgers 'B' going 1-0 ahead within the first 5 minutes. Bassett immediately fought back into the game with efforts coming from Emily Dixon and Georgina Viveash. 10 minutes before half time Bassett had the breakthrough that they had been looking for as Sammy Baker controlled and passed the ball through to Amy Aitken so she could score her 2nd goal of the season and Bassetts equalizer. At the other end of the pitch Emily Dixon cleared the ball superbly, to keep it 1-1 at half time.

As the second half started Bassett took control of the game with the defence looking solid at the back. With a change of goalkeeper Tegan Buchanan made some good runs and controlled the midfield. The pressure continued to be put on with shots hitting the post 3 times. The winning goal came from Emily Dixon with great up play throughout the team. Well done to all the girls!
