On a dreadful day and pitch the girls came up against the team that they had beaten only last week. In the first half Badgers seem to dominate the game in the heavy rain on there home ground. With Bassett trying to play on the pitch was very difficult as the ball kept getting stuck in the mud. By half time Badgers had taken a 2-goal lead over Bassett. In the second half Bassett really put up a fight to get back into the game, by pushing forward and creating number of chances. A long-range shot bounced on the muddy ground and went over Georgina Viveash's head, which she had, no chance in saving. Pressure from the Bassett team kept building and finally we scored in a goal mouth scramble by Emily Dixon. It was an excellent effort by all the girls.
