Our first home game saw a very big and experienced side from Badgers over run the Bassett girls. The team ran and tackled as hard as they could but badgers passing better saw us 3-0 down in the first 10 minutes. Then Bassett had period of the game up to half time with the same good efforts on goal from Sam Wood and Amy Aitken but were unable to score. The second half Badgers had the wind behind them and we were unable to get the ball into there half. They scored five more goals in the second half and the girls probably played one of the best teams in the league.
