It was a much-improved performance by the girls today against a young Derry Hill side. With the wind behind the Bassett girls in the half, they kept the visitors penned in their own half for the entire first half. The goals were always going to come it was just a matter of when. Sam Wood back after 5 weeks of injury went close 3 times before Emily Dixon scored the first of her 4 goals. Further goal from Rebecca Packwood and an own goal made it 5-0 at half time.

The second half was the same with many chances being created, Amy Atkin scored a hat trick and goals from Sam Wood, Hannah Coventry and Tegan Buchanan. It was good for the girls in the squad to have a longer run out as they all had a great game.
