Different story in rematch with Stratton Youth

It was a different story this from the last time we played them when we won 6-5 being 4-1 down at half time. Right from the start we played the football that all who watch the games come to expect from the under 8's.There was great passing movements right from the defence to the attack and the result showed that and it could have been more if was not for their goalkeeper who had an outstanding game along with their number 14 as well. Bassett played with confidence and soon got the rhythm going with shots at the goal from the keeper being lobbed, hit the post and the crossbar on a few occasions. Josh did well with the throw ins and corner kicks and troubled them most of the time with the distance he could throw them, the defence as usual has been outstanding again of which Harry and Joe kept the visiting side pinned back to a few shots over the game, the midfield of Jack, Aaron and Josh ran and ran and made sure the defence was kept out of trouble along with the attack of Ryan and Jake troubling the goalkeeper, overall a good solid team performance again.
