Purton were a much improved team from last time which is full credit to them, but when Wootton Bassett got going they were quite comfortable in the way they played. Again the pitch was heavy going for both teams but in the end Basset came through 3-0 winners. The goalkeeper played very well for Purton but with the post and the crossbar hit a few times the score was kept down.
