Another fine performance by the under 8's this week. We played Blunsdon on a water logged pitch which to be fair, was hard going for the boys but after they got into their rhythm it was all over.

A superb free kick by Arron Oakley from 15 yards out went straight into the top corner and that followed by another 3 goals from him in today's game. Once again James Painter had hardly anything to do except to be picked out of the of the goal mouth mud bath, which his dad threw him in for not getting dirty in the first place.

The defence of Joe Whiteley and Harry Hazzard was excellent again in covering for each other when troubled, and Harry had a shot from his own half saved by Blunsdon's goalkeeper, what a goal that would have been! Jack Brain ran and ran as usual hounding the defence and scored 3 goals for his efforts, new boy Josh Shama did a good job covering the pitch, and for his efforts he scored along with Tyler Amos and Jake Matthews as well with Ryan Amos getting studded (accidentally) he came off the pitch after a few telling passes to set up a couple of goals.
