While it's a busy weekend at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground, Royal Wootton Bassett Town Men's First Team will be hitting the road as they visit Cinderford Town in Hellenic League Premier Division action on Saturday (3pm kick off).

Bassett visited the Causeway Ground twice last season, coming up empty handed on both occasions after a penalties defeat in the FA Vase and 2-0 league loss.

But it has been a relatively happy hunting ground in recent years, with Bassett triumphing 1-0 in their 2023-24 league visit while also winning on penalties in the 2020-21 Emirates FA Cup.

Jonny Aitkenhead's side did also defeat the Foresters 2-1 at home last season - an outcome they will be seeking to replicate when they visit the Forest of Dean.

Home action then sees the Women's First Team host fellow tier five side Woodley United in their final friendly ahead of the start of the South West Regional Women's Football League Premier Division season.

Kick off on Sunday is 2pm on the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground AGP.

Prior to that the first part of the home doubleheader pits the Development team against their newly promoted Hungerford Town equivalents in the Wiltshire League Premier Division.

Kick off on Saturday is 3pm at the Swindon Mercedes Stadium (Gerard Buxton Sports Ground).

Admission is £4 for adults, £2 for concessions and free for RWBTFC youth members.
