Royal Wootton Bassett Town are delighted to announce that its free Saturday Skills Sessions - the cornerstone of the club's Community Football programme - start again on 12 September. And they are set to be bigger and better than before!

The sessions will continue to take place on the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground AGP from 9-10am during school term time.

Our award winning free Saturday Skills Session offer all who attend the opportunity to play football and take part in organised sessions overseen by qualified coaches in a fun, engaging, safe and non-competitive environment.

There will be three groups this year, with the addition of Squad Girls' Football:

Saturday Skills Sessions - a mixed session for boys and girls of all abilities aged 4-10 (Reception to Year 5)

Wildcats Girls' Football - open to all girls aged 4 to 10 (Reception to Year 5

Squad Girls' Football - open to all girls aged 11 to 14 (Year 6 to Year 9)

All attendees need to bring boots, shin pads, a drink and weather appropriate clothing.

Our Free Saturday Skills Sessions are available to sponsor.

The cornerstone of our Community Football offer for close to 14 years, the sessions run during school term time.

Their continued success is demonstrated by the number of children who have attend each week, with many who have have had their first taste of football at the sessions going on to play for our youth and girls teams.

Over the years the sessions have also been nominated for and won multiple awards.
