A new era for Royal Wootton Bassett Town begins in earnest on Thursday 12 June with the first Men's preseason training session ahead of the 2025-26 campaign.

The new season sees Jonny Aitkenhead take the reins of the Men's First Team as they look for another successful campaign in the Hellenic League Premier Division.

Still under the management of Mark Simpkins, the Development team, meanwhile, will be aiming to bounce back after a difficult 2024-25 season in the Wiltshire League Premier Division.

Both teams will be training together ahead of the new campaign with the goal being to forge closer links between the two club's two senior men's sides while remaining competitive in both the Hellenic and Wiltshire leagues.

Training will be held at the Gerard Buxton Sports Ground from 7.30-9.15pm.

After Thursday's initial session, preseason training will take place each Tuesday and Thursday until the start of the season.

All players - returning and new - are welcome to attend.

Preseason friendlies will begin in early July, with full details of these to be announced in due course.
