The Reserves had an unlucky day when they met Swindon Manchester Road in a Swindon and District League match at Southbrook Recreation Ground. They had only ten men and before the end S. Taylor was sent off. The Reserves were defeated by 3 goals to 1, S. Taylor being the scorer.

The Town Reserves team selected had been: S. Rex; R. King and A.W. Clarke; C. Archer, E. Tull and E. Fry; A. Hunt, S. Taylor, R. Lewis, F. Munns and F. Tyler.

Tomorrow the Reserves will receive a visit from Swindon Albion in a Swindon and District League match, and their side will be: S. Rex; R. King and A.W. Clarke; C. Archer, E. Tull and F. Tyler; S. Taylor, H.G. Angelinetta, E. Flewelling, Childs and F. Munns.
