The Reserves were at home to Wroughton Reserves in a Swindon and District League fixture, and after a series of defeats they secured both points. In the first half the game was fairly even. The visitors opened the scoring, but before the interval H.G. Angelinetta equalised.

The second half saw each side striving hard to gain the lead, and it was S. Taylor who put the home team ahead. Wroughton had most of the game from now on but failed to beat S. Rex who played his best game of the season.

The Town Reserves will visit Colborne's Sports Club in a Swindon and District League match tomorrow and their team will be: S. Rex; R. King and C. Archer; A. Hunt, M. Twine and F. Tyler; S. Taylor, R. Lewis, W. Ogbourne, A.W. Clarke and F. Munns.
