The Reserves were at home to Chiseldon Wanderers in a Swindon and District League fixture and were defeated by 2 goals to 1. S. Taylor scored for the home team, and G. Miller was the marksman for the Wanderers.

The Town Reserves team selected had been: S. Rex; G. Edwards and R. King; S. Taylor, E. Tull and F. Tyler; R. Lewis, W. Ogbourne, C.R. Waite, A.W. Clarke and F. Munns.
