Meanwhile there was a first victory of the season for the Under 16s as they won 2-1 away at Ashton Keynes.
Bassett had a great response after a couple of tough games and headed into the match with a positive mindset.
With the sun shining, from minute one, Bassett didn't stop attacking. Wingers Tilly and Eliza were creating chance after chance for the forwards.
Bassett came nail-bitingly close to scoring, hitting the side netting, post and crossbar.
25 minutes in, Daisy Bundy cut in from the side with some lovely footwork and smashed the ball into the bottom right corner.
The girls displayed some outstanding defending, making sure they didn't concede.
A few minutes later, Tilly Bevis drove into the box and slotted the ball home, putting Bassett ahead by two.
Bassett kept up the great work in the second half, creating chance after chance. They were frustratingly denied a third goal by the linesman, Bundy's strike being ruled offside.
Ashton Keynes managed to nick a goal back, but the Under 16s held on to win 2-1, keeping their shape and staying strong.
Well done to all the girls for a great team performance.
