The Under 16s faced Purton Kingsdown Phoenix for the second week in a row on Saturday, this time at home.
Sadly, the away side came out victorious, but the Blues still put up a fight.
Bassett had a tough first ten minutes and conceded two early goals, but the girls had a great attitude and kept believing in themselves.
Both teams were evenly matched in the second half, with Bassett creating opportunities to score.
However, they just couldn't manage to convert, and in the end, it was Purton who found the back of the net, sealing a 3-0 win.
The girls should be proud of themselves as they didn't give up and worked hard.
Player of the match went to Letti, who was outstanding in several different positions, and a shout-out goes to keeper Mia, who was also great.
