Sunday 11th October 2009 - Lavington Juniors (A)

A great result for the U13 girls on Sunday, winning 4-1 against better opposition than their position in the league table would suggest. The entire team gave an impressive performance. Ellie and Hannah worked well in the centre and certainly add some solidity to the middle of the field. Chloe again impressed with some great defensive work. Felicity and Aimee were as dependable as ever and Shannon played another key role with a solid goalkeeping performance despite not feeling 100%. Julia had a tremendous game, scoring two vital goals. Amy battled hard and scored after a terrific run through Lavington's defenders, and Jaye showed us all how good she is with some great left footed shots from distance worrying the Lavington keeper. The injury to Jaye with just 7 minutes to go, was a low point in an otherwise enjoyable game.
