Bassett scored within 3 minutes of this game against bottom of the table Blunsdon. Unfortunately due to some wayward finishing and some excellent saves from the Blunsdon keeper Bassett were unable to extend the lead in the first half. A goal after the break extended Bassett's lead but the home side pulled one back and the possibility of an upset remained on the cards. However, two further goals sealed the points for Bassett. Bassett's scorers were Tom Walkley and Chris Mochan with two each.
