Wootton Bassett were victorious in the battle of the mid-week specialists last night.
Pete Yeardley's side triumphed 3-1 at Gloucester United to pull further away from the lower places in the Hellenic Premier Division.
Both club's are able to field stronger sides during mid-week, but it was Bassett who cruised to victory thanks to a brace from new Rylands Way darling Ben Gascoyne.
Ben Jarrett also hit the target as the Wiltshire visitors roared into a 3-0 lead at Meadow Park.
Gascoyne had the chance to complete a memorable hat-trick, but fluffed a spot-kick, before Gloucester pulled back an 89th-minute consolation goal.
The victory leaves Bassett looking relatively safe in mid-table with 37 points.
