An entertaining game this one with Bassett out to avenge the 5-0 defeat they suffered at Moredon the previous . Neil Waterhouse opened the scoring for Bassett only for the visitors to draw level but it was Neil Waterhouse who regained the lead for Bassett to take the teams in at half time 2-1. St Josephs levelled the scores in the second half and in a nail biting finish Danny Lawrie became hero of the day by scoring the winning goal from a rebound off the St Josephs keeper. A good team effort with Martin Jefferies having a good game in the Bassett goal.
