Playing in very wet and boggy conditions, Bassett U14's found themselves three goals down in the first half. A brief respite shortly after the break when Neil Waterhouse scored to lift Bassett's spirits but this was short lived as the home side managed to score two more goals before the final whistle and thereby take maximum points.
