Members of Mick Woolford's 1987-88 Wiltshire League championship winning Wootton Bassett Town side can now re-live that hugely important season in the club's history by reading through the match reports that have been added to the archive section of our website.

Generally written by Paul Harrison for the Wilts and Gloucestershire Standard (Wootton Bassett edition), reports are available for all but the first game of a historic campaign which saw Bassett clinch promotion to the Hellenic League.

Throughout the season, Paul kept a scrapbook that contained match reports and photos, which he has kindly donated to the club he has served for so long as both a player and committee member - and these have now been transcribed and entered onto the website. They can be viewed and read here.

Paul's scrapbook also contained 16 Reserve team match reports from the same season, and these have also been added to the relevant section of the archive here.

The addition of these reports to the archive follows on from work earlier this year adding match reports from the 2002-03 through 2006-07 seasons (those from 2007-08 onwards were already available).
