What a match today! We started slowly and went 1:0 down early. But after 10 minutes we finally got going and began to play some great football. Jow was put through and he rounded the keeper in style and equalised with a great finish.

Our 2nd came as a result of good pressure from the team. Stratton were forced into making a backpass and the keeper collected to give away an indirect free kick. Harry touched to Joe who SMASHED the ball into the net.

Stratton equalised half way through the 2nd half though and it looked like we would be throwing a couple of points away. Thislooked even more likely when Harry made a fine run down the wing, beating a player and crossing to Joe who was unmarked and in front of goal! He blasted the ball but it came back off the bar. Big chance gone

We continued to press though and Joe was giving the defence no peace. He collected the ball near the corner flag and went round the keeper. He still had lots to do though but managed to curl the ball in with his weaker left foot!

A great 3:2 win with everyone playing their part. Luke was named man of the match for some great effort
