Very unlucky today. The teams looked evenly matched with Persey starting better and taking the lead through their main dangerman.

We battled well though and Daniel Slade was looking in great form in goal, taking control superbly. We got our deserved equaliser with a lovely move. Luke winning a tackle and putting a lovely pass through which eventually found Daniel who finished as he has done all season.

The match turned on a shocking decision from the ref. The Pewsey striker fell inm the box and inexplicably the referee awarded a penalty. We pushed forward in search of the equaliser and with a minute to go put everyone into the box. We lost the ball and they had 2 against one at the back and they secured the points with a neat finish 3:1
