Another good performance today and we were unlucky not to get anything from the game. We started strongly and went 1:0 up when a shot from Joe was deflected in. We soon went 2:0 with the best move of the match. Some lovely one touch passing saw Joe get put through and he made no mistake with a confident finish.

Lambourn are a strong team though and some sustained pressure saw them grab a goal back. We moved clear again though with a 3rd goal - Daniel Carey was put through and finished in style to continue his good goal scoring form.

Lambourn weren't out of the game though and got another back to make it 3:2 with 10 minutes remaining. 2 goals in the last 10 minutes saw Lambourn grab all the points but we showed a lot of fighting sirit which gives us hope for the season.
