Excellent win for us today. We started slowly though and boys sides were pretty evenly matched. Joe grabbed a couple of goals though and our confidence grew. Daniel Carey added another and effectively sealed the win. One more from Joe before half time and we were cruising

Again we got complacent though and let Brinkworth back into the game with some slack defending. 4:1 Daniel Carey then found his goalscoring form and grabbed a couple more for his second hattrick of the season.

Another Brinkworth replay was quickly followed by a nice through ball from Joe and Daniel on this form was never going to miss, curling the ball into the top right of the goal for his 4th. Joe added another before the end to complete the scoring.

Super attacking from our 2 strikers today but that doesn't tell the whole story. Harrison looked dangerous going forward and caught the eye with some silky skills; tough tackling from him too for the ideal midfielder's game. Gustavo T had his usual high energy game and Taylor didn't put a foot wrong in defence as per usual. James also deserves a special mention as he came on in defence and was excellent.
