Right where do we start with this one??? Shaw B was Bassett's 4th Rd opponents in this one-sided cup match, Some of the comments by the opposing Parents when they saw the draw said wonder what the score was going to be and hopefully not to many.

I would have been happy with a 5 nil win today and everybody playing well, but when the team started we knew it would be more. The discipline the lads had been showing today was fantastic and for them to keep in there formation and shape was pleasing to see especially in this cold and rainy day.

After they were comfortably in the lead, 6 nil by half time, we wanted to see how disciplined they would be?? To keep playing football and keep pressing for more, Steve and Myself were more than happy with the way they played and kept chasing the game for more and more.

It was pleasing to see a lot of good waited chips, and good passing especially in triangles today and lets hope there's more to come next week and the following weeks to come.

The lads all played well today with goals coming left, right and centre at a sorry Shaw side, but the biggest laugh today by all spectators and kids, was their keeper had enough and started to run up the pitch, Callum tackled him and Jake (3) cooly lobbed the defenders to score into an open net and you could then sense Shaw players had given up.

The goals started as early as the 2nd minute with Jonathan opening the scoring and did not stop throughout the game with 7 to his name, Danny (2) played well and Nick had a good game with another 3 to his name this season.

Well done to the team and once again we are pleased you kept to your game and kept your concentration to the end.
