Bridges and Hammond goals secure win for Reserves

After last weeks disappointing result we got back to winning ways with a 2-0 home win against Cirencester United with goals from Jon-Paul Hibbert and Neil Bridges late in the second half .

We started the game well and could have easily scored on numerous occasions but bad luck and poor finishing meant that we never relaxed and both the team and management became frustrated as chance after chance was being squandered and it looked like it was going to be one of those games but we kept on battling and finally got a bit of luck when a cross from J-P flew into the top corner with twenty minutes to go and then a fine goal from Neil in the 85th minute allowed us to relax until the final whistle.

We have now got to have more belief in our ability and not to be frightened to get the ball down and play the football we are capable of and accept being top of the league means every side we play tries that little bit harder when they play against us.
