Wootton Bassett nearly pulled off a great result against Chippenham in the U18's floodlit league. They led for 88 minutes before the resilient Chippenham side equalised to make it 2 - 2 with almost the last kick off the game. Goals from the impressive Dean Stonehouse, one in each half , was all set to seal a great victory only to be denied in the dying minutes. Assistant manager Derrick Reilly quoted ' I am disappointed we let slip a great result but this will give us a boost that we can compete with the top teams in this excellent league'.
