It was a successful Saturday at tournaments in Calne and Corsham for two of Royal Wootton Bassett Town's Under 11 sides.

The Under 11 Girls finished runners-up in AFC Corsham's competition. They battled all the way through to the final before being defeated on penalties by Melksham Town Girls.

Meanwhile, at FC Calne's tournament, held at Beversbrook, the Under 11 Blues were victorious for the second time in three seasons. After winning all three of their group games, they saw off Highworth Town Juniors H in the quarter finals before prevailing on penalties following a goalless draw against AFC Newbury in the last four. In the final they were up against FC Calne Black and, after another game that ended 0-0 after extra time, Bassett defeated the host side 6-5 on penalties.
