This week is an exciting one for our youth section sides as they begin training on the state of the art 3G pitch at the New Ground Buxton Sports Ground.

In order to protect the quality of the surface, parents and players are reminded to take note of the footwear that is acceptable to wear on the 3G pitch as this will be strictly enforced.

It is recommended that those playing on the surface wear football boots with either a moulded or screw-in stud.

Astroturf trainers and football boots with blades are not ideal.

General trainers should not be worn.

Please also make sure that boots are clean before going onto the pitch as muddy footwear will damage the surface.
