Wootton Bassett are the shock team of the Wiltshire League. After sacrificing many home points they caused a big surprise a fortnight ago by winning at Warminster by 7 goals to 3. While last Saturday they went over the border to Frome and won by the odd goal in five. Bassett's victory at Frome was a creditable one. As the final score would suggest the game was evenly contested. Both sides scored twice in the opening half. Fisher (2) and Davis scored for Bassett. Fisher has found the net six times in the last two months.
