Also joining Shrivenham and Melksham at the top are Royal Wootton Bassett Town who bounced back from last week's narrow defeat at Shrivenham with a win against Chippenham Town, who were playing their second game in four days. When the two sides had met last season, Royal Wootton Bassett Town had edged it by the odd goal in five and once again the fixture saw another high scoring and tight game. Alex Stephenson opened the scoring for Royal Wootton Bassett Town, and they extended their lead when Nathanial Bell made it 2-0 to the home side. Chippenham Town pulled one back before the break and then drew level with a second goal after the restart. Nathanial Bell then restored the lead for Royal Wootton Bassett Town with his second of the game only for Chippenham to restore parity once again with their third goal. The match was finally settled in the home side's favour when Nathanial Bell completed an impressive a hat-trick to make the final score 4-3 to Royal Wootton Bassett Town. Chippenham's scorers on the night were Spencer Dymond-Hall, Eduardo Silva and Mekhi Duncan.
