03 Oct 2010 - Broad Town Colts (A)

In swirling weather game 4 of this seasons campaign took us to Broad Town away. This seasons mentality of all pulling together as a collective unit, and learning the lessons taken at training grows and grows. Broad Town, much improved gave Bassetts boys a stern test, but we took our chances quicker than they did.......George Staten indeed with 22 seconds on the clock. All the lads looked within themselves to ensure the chances kept on coming and coming......last year we might have looked to others, but this year we are in charge of our destiny. A great defensive unit of The Rhino in goal, Archie, Matt and Joe gave the rest of the lads the space and confidence to dig out the necessary tackles, and spray the ball around to each other. The result of all the hard work from Ben King, Beefy Harry was a crafted goal from Pugs. If we keep this going then we can improve on last year, personally and positionally.......Next game 5 home to Liden
